Aurora isn’t your uncles tape emulation plugin. Over years countless products have been released claiming to capture to sound of analog tape machines and bring it to your daw. Some have done so better than others but at its pinnacle the impact of these plugins were subtle at best. Sometimes you can’t even tell its doing anything! Also the small amount of emulations available per product are very sparse some only offering 1-3. When we started designing Aurora we strived to make a product that was quite the opposite. There will be no mistaking if your audio is being processed thru it and there are 75 units emulated within the plugin. A total of 236 presets to choose from! Ranging from subtle Hi-End mastering decks, Well Maintained 24-track machines, Extremely Rare and obscure Reel-to-Reel decks, Countless Cassette decks and tape styles, strange little all in one record players and countless others. Within each model you can blend the character to taste, dial in the exact odd and even harmonics, tape push, analog saturation and hi and low frequency tone shaping. If that wasn’t enough we even included 6 different noise types ranging from analog reel to reel, cassettes and even vhs noise to blend to your liking. We also included a wonderful sounding little limiter at the end of the chain to control the madness if desired. Simply put Aurora isn’t just another tape “emulation” plugin…it is a full blown audio time machine.
